Lider Triennial of Scenography is a platform for popularizing and stimulating the development of Ukrainian scenography. Our main goal is to participate in the processes that shape the professional environment and seek to include Ukraine in international professional associations.
Triennial is named after the outstanding Ukrainian scenographer-philosopher Daniil Lider, who for many years held the position of chief artist of the Ivan Franko National Academic Theater (then – Ivan Franko Kyiv Theater) and founded a school of Ukrainian scenography.
The main event of the platform – the All-Ukrainian Daniil Lider Triennial of Scenography takes place every three years and demonstrates the current achievements of Ukrainian theater artists. The exposition contains two competition sections – Main and Student. And also the historical part, which is dedicated to outstanding Ukrainian scenographers.
